James tweeted photos of himself enjoying the strange beverage, which caused a stir on social media as many argued ''milk coke'' was not really a drink.
He said: ''Milk coke is a real thing. Brummies love it. We can all move on from this discussion now, I will be taking no further questions.''
Social media users were disgusted by the idea of the drink.
