A cat has been restored to her owners after spending three weeks in an US airport.
Rowdy, a four-year-old feline, escaped from her crate after landing at Boston’s Logan Airport, vying to nab some birds and camped out in the terminal and spent nearly a month hiding.
The rescue effort - which also included safe release traps and wildlife cameras - involved airline staff and animal care experts trying to bribe her with treats and toys sent from her owner, Patty Sahli.
She told Sky News: "I'm kind of in disbelief. I thought, what are the odds we're actually going to get her back?
"But I got a call this morning and I am just so shocked."
Patty added: "It was such a community effort. We're just so grateful to everyone who helped look for her."
A spokesperson for the airport told Sky News: "Whether out of fatigue or hunger we'll never know, but this morning she finally let herself be caught.”
