Boffins are planning to keep bosses in charge forever using AI.
The project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is being tested on the digital footprints of 25 people to create immortal versions of them.
The technology had initially been created to make digital versions of loved ones that could live on long after they die but the researchers are now looking into whether it could be used on bosses such as Elon Musk or Donald Trump.
Houssein Rahnama, from the MIT, started the project based on the vast amounts of information that people leave on social media.
He is convinced that the data could make it possible to train AI avatars to behave plausibly like their human counterparts.
Rahnama said: "Might it be possible to replicate the knowledge held by experienced professionals?
"Can people seek legal opinions from the avatar of a famous lawyer? It was relatively easy to map those knowledge bases."
