A black cat has been elected as the mayor of a town called Hell.

Jinx the feline has a huge social media as she has huge eyes and oversized feet and received the keys to govern the town in Michigan on Sunday (24.04.22).
The town, which has a population of just 72 people, offers anybody or anything the chance to become mayor for the day or even just one hour.
Jinx has been with her owner Mia since 2018 and has become Hell's most popular mayor with 736,000 followers on TikTok.
The prizes that come with being the mayor of Hell include "horns, a T-shirt, a mug, a badge and a mayoral proclamation certificate" but the moggy did get an impeachment call at the end of the day.
Jinx will also be given her own square-inch property in the town to mark her tenure as mayor.
