Bookmaker offers odds on zombie apocalypse
A bookmaker is taking bets on the chances of there being a zombie apocalypse on Christmas Day (25.12.13).
Ladbrokes have announced odds of 2,000/1 for Britain to be invaded by zombies and while the chances of such an event occurring are surely slim to none, Sean Page, a zombie expert and author or 'Haynes Zombie Survival Manual', insists people should be prepared.
He said: ''The public are always interested in the odds of a white Christmas, but they should be more concerned by the increasing likelihood of a zombie apocalypse.
''The most likely time for an outbreak is during the busy festive season as people spend more time in large groups, making it easier for the zombie virus to spread, triggering the apocalypse.''
