A priest scared young children when he told them St Nicholas saved slaughtered children whose corpses were to be sold as ham.
Rev Simon Tatton-Brown said the saint - who he claims Father Christmas was based on - resurrected three children after their corpses were put into barrels by a butcher, while he gave a speech on Wednesday (11.12.13) at Charter Primary School in Wiltshire, south west England.
He also suggested Father Christmas was not real which upset many parents.
The vicar has since written to the headteacher, Sarah Flack, to apologise, as he didn't intend to cause any trouble.
