Snoop Lion congratulates veg grower

Snoop Lion has congratulated a vegetable grower on his prize crops.
The 'Gin and Juice' rapper phoned Ian Neale to praise him after he beat his own world record by growing a 95.96lb (43.5kg) swede, which was 10.46lbs heavier than his last attempt, and the 70-year-old vegetable lover couldn't believed it when he heard the music star on the phone.
Ian is quoted by the South Wales Argus newspaper as saying: ''When Snoop Dogg rang me I didn't say a lot because I was surprised to hear from him.
''But he congratulated me - it was a bit weird. He told me his own veg was growing very well.''
Snoop invited Ian to his gig in Cardiff in 2011 as a way of congratulating him after the vegetable lover grew a record-breaking swede.
