Woman swaps wedding ring for football tickets
A woman has swapped her old wedding ring for American football tickets.
The lady put an advert on Craiglist informing people she was keen to swap her band from a previous nuptials for tickets to see her beloved Kansas City Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos in one of the side's biggest games of the season to date.
And she was delighted when 49-year-old Rusty Jones got in touch and arranged to meet her at a jewellery store to get her ring verified.
The band was priced at $2,800 and Rusty handed over tickets to the hotly-anticipated game - which are going for between $340-$426 on some websites - as well as a pair of tickets for the Chiefs' upcoming fixture against the San Diego Chargers.
Rusty is now planning to pop the question to his girlfriend.
