Wife changes pub sign to demand divorce
A wife changed a pub sign to notify her husband she wanted a divorce.
''Paul ... I am divorcing you,'' and she then added: ''BTW [by the way], I am keeping the dog.''
The frustrated female persuaded staff at her local nightspot, Noah's Yard, in Swansea, south Wales, to change their signage to read: ''Paul ... I am divorcing you,'' and she then added: ''BTW [by the way], I am keeping the dog.''
The woman was keen to put the sign up to embarrass her husband after finding out he had allegedly cheated on her.
Owner Noah Redfern now expects the craze to catch on after it attracted interest from several customers.
He said: ''Maybe this will become a new way of asking for a divorce!
''We have had a lot of interest in it from customers who have been asking about the story behind the sign.''
