Man throws parrot at police officer
A 32-year-old man allegedly threw a parrot at a police officer.
Luis Santana was arrested following the incident and is now facing several charges including animal cruelty and assaulting a police officer after chucking the feathered creature, who went on to bite the official on the finger to add insult to injury.
The police were attempting to break up an altercation between the guy and another man when Luis purportedly threw the bird, who he does not own.
He also faces charges of second-degree burglary and disorderly conduct.
