New mother hails onesie for saving baby's life
A 21-year-old new mother has been left grateful for her onesie after it saved her newborn baby's life.
''I was in so much shock when I saw him on my leg. I couldn't believe it.''
Jessica Wynter was wearing the clothing when went into labour one week before her due date, and the garment helped to stop her son Kye from hitting the floor when she gave birth unexpectedly in the car park of King's College Hospital in London.
She said: ''I just threw on the onesie as I came out of the bath. It could have been anything else, it's so lucky, if it had been something like a nightie I don't think he would have survived.
''I was in so much shock when I saw him on my leg. I couldn't believe it.''
