A soccer club's mascot was sent off after offering the linesman his glasses.
Burnley FC's mascot Bertie Bee was told to leave the side of the pitch after he disagreed with one of the assistant referee's decisions during their game against Queens Park Rangers, and he jokingly suggested the official put on his spectacles to avoid a repeat performance.
But the referee failed to see the comical side of Bertie's antics and sent him down the tunnel, where he ended up in a makeshift ''jail''.
He later posted a picture of himself in the prison on Twitter, to the amusement of his followers.
