American football fans celebrated a touchdown so much they caused an earthquake.
Fans of the Seattle Seahawks went crazy when their side scored early in the first quarter of their match against New Orleans Saints at the CenturyLink Field stadium in Seattle, and their carnival atmosphere led to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network detecting vibrations measuring between one and two on the earthquake scale.
According to CNN, Director John Vidale revealed there were five different seismic events recorded during the game.
The Seahawks were spurred on by their raucous home support and went on to win the game 34-7.
