TV thief escapes on skateboard
An American thief has stolen a TV from a local store and escaped on a skateboard.
''He gets an A for creativity. But he committed a serious crime and we need to find him.''
The suspect was seen browsing with a shop assistant in a Target store in Florida before grabbing a television worth over $400 and making his creative getaway.
Although his initial attempt to skate off with the device was halted by the stores locked door, after threatening workers with a knife the unidentified thief managed to roll out of the shop and escape across the car park as he was chased by staff and security guards.
A detective investigating the case said: ''He gets an A for creativity. But he committed a serious crime and we need to find him.''
The suspect is still on the loose and has been described as 5ft 11in, weighing around 150 lbs and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt during the robbery.
