Teenager buys £600 shop for 4p

''I decided I wanted to help as many people as I can and to also show that it's possible to shop very cheaply, if you know how.''

A teenager has bought £600 worth of shopping for just 4p after collecting nearly 500 coupons.

'Extreme couponing' fan Jordan Cox, 16, bought several goods from a Tesco in Brent Cross, north London, but didn't have to spend hardly anything after collecting a staggering 470 money-off and cashback vouchers from magazines and the internet.

What's more, following his shrewd shop, Jordan headed to nearby charity Doorstep to give his goods to poor families for Christmas.

He said: ''I decided I wanted to help as many people as I can and to also show that it's possible to shop very cheaply, if you know how.''
