Driver hides in boot after crashing car
A driver hid in the boot of her car for 36 hours after crashing into a wall while under the influence of alcohol.
According to the Bild newspaper, the 30-year-old woman got into the small space after hitting the wall in the town of Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland Palatinate.
Police officers arrived at the scene and took the vehicle to a nearby garage, but they were unaware the lady was hiding away in the boot.
Despite her cunning tactics to avoid being caught, the woman was found and lost her licence after admitting driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
