University student finds secret bunker
A university student has stumbled across a secret underground bunker.
''It looks pretty creepy down there ... The water works and the telephone has a dial tone, so I guess the shelter is still being maintained for further usage!''
The explorer - who is known only by his online username 'Status Quo' - found what he believes is an old air raid shelter at his university near Dusseldorf, Germany.
Describing images he posted of the bunker on photo-sharing site Imgur, he said: ''It looks pretty creepy down there ... The water works and the telephone has a dial tone, so I guess the shelter is still being maintained for further usage!''
He later joked to another user on the site: ''Just installed the flat screen and the couch! It's starting to look kind of cosy.''
