Man claims he is immune to snake venom

A man claims he has become immune to snake venom. after being bitten on 100 occasions by some of the world's most dangerous serpents including a water cobra and a black mamba.

Tim Friede insists he has been bitten by deadly serpents, including a water cobra and a black mamba - whose venom would usually kill someone within 20 minutes - on 100 occasions, and now hopes he can help to develop anti-venoms to save people.

''Letting yourself get bitten requires a very high level of mental pressure, albeit a necessary one to beat snakebite.''

The unemployed factory worker has posted images of himself being bitten from such serpents in a bid to prove to people he can withstand their venom.

He said: ''Letting yourself get bitten requires a very high level of mental pressure, albeit a necessary one to beat snakebite.''

While Tim has not died after being bitten by snakes, he has suffered from anaphylaxis, which can cause death through breathing difficulties and series swelling, as a result.
