A bear and her cub broke into a California home and feasted on doughnuts.
Alice Taylor was shocked to find the mother and baby pair helping themselves to the sweet treat in her Monrovia home after they had made their way in by removing a window screen.
She told ABC7: "I was just trying to figure out how do we get them out.”
Alice - who is no stranger to bears as grizzlies have paid her a visit before - believes “there’s certain things” you have to accept living in close proximity to bears.
She added: "We understand that our trash cans are going to get knocked over. There's certain things that go with having bears in our community."
Another bear visited a family holidaying in the Wisconsin town of Crivitz. After they hid in other rooms, a conservation officer from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources managed to get the bear out.
