A bald eagle fled the scene after it crashed through the front window of a Pennsylvania home.
The bird was flew away so he was unable to be pinned down by local authorities after smashing the window of a home in Whitehall Township at roughly 5:30 pm on Tuesday (25.01.22).
Kathy Uhler, the director of the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center told WFMZ-TV: “More than likely, he was seeing a reflection of the sky or simply light and felt that he could continue through it.”
Kathy was brought the affected home by the police about the issue, which she labelled as a “not a small problem”
She said: "We're losing like a billion birds a year to window collisions, it's not a small problem,” before advising homeowners to treat their windows with an ultraviolet coating.
