Astronauts have been advised to go for runs on the Moon.
Scientists have told those travelling into orbit to jog several times per day around a "lunar Wall of Death" to stop themselves from becoming weak in the low-gravity environment.
Experts used a rented Wall of Death - a giant wooden cylinder that is often used by stunt performers - as well as a 36m-high telescopic crane and bungee cords to show that it is possible for humans to run quickly enough in the lunar setting while remaining on the wall and maintaining enough lateral force to ward off bone and muscle wasting.
Alberto Minetti, a professor of physiology at the University of Milan, said: "I'm amazed that nobody had the idea before. This could be a convenient way to train on the moon."
