An amateur golfer has overcome odds of 10 billion to one to hit four holes-in-one in a single year.
Hugh Barrett has managed to ace holes in January, May and September at his local Headingley Golf Club before doing so for a fourth time on October 1.
The odds of hitting a single hole-in-one are 12,500-1, while landing four is estimated to be 10 billion to one.
It takes Barrett's lifetime total up to seven as he sunk his first hole back in the 1970s.
The father-of-three from Leeds said: "I couldn't see it go in because the tee is higher than the green and you can't quite see the bottom. As I walked off the tee, I had a sixth sense that it had gone in. It was surreal, when I think about it now, it was an unbelievable feeling."
Barrett has been praised by the son of his sporting hero - the late Spanish golfer Seve Ballesteros - for his extraordinary achievements on the course.
