On Thursday 17th December, Justin Lee Collins and FIVE joined forces to set a new Guinness World Record for ‘Most Coins Flipped Simultaneously’.
252 families, students, locals and wannabe record breakers joined Justin Lee Collins on Covent Garden’s West Piazza as Heads or Tails: The Big Flip successfully set a brand new Guinness World Record.
After setting the record - which was a publicity stunt for new TV show Heads Or Tails, JLC gave away £1,000 to one lucky member of the public after they correctly guessed the outcome of his coin toss. Heads or Tails host, Justin Lee Collins said: “I had a fantastic time taking part in setting a new world record today and loved how people really got involved with the spirit of the show. Heads or Tails is one of the best shows I have done and I hope the viewers will enjoy watching it as much as I did making it.”
Heads or Tails is a new, primetime, 11-part series which gives members of the public the chance to become a millionaire on the toss of a coin. Friends, family and celebrity guests can be called on to help the player make simple but agonising choices, but with just one coin, one player and one call to win £1million.
Airing nightly on FIVE from Sunday 20th December and including a celebrity special, Heads or Tails is a Christmas treat full of suspense guaranteed to have you glued to your sofa.
