A 13-seat movie theatre in Canada has been named the world’s smallest.
The Little Prince Micro-Cinema in Toronto has snagged the Guinness World Record for the smallest purpose-built picture house.
The space - which opened in October 2021 and used to be an art gallery - is styled after Victorian theaters, complete with red carpeting, tiered seating and velvet ropes.
Leigh Cooney, the owner and operator of the 175.36 square foot theater told the Stratford Beacon Herald: "It's really very rewarding to earn this recognition.”
"We may be small, but we're having a huge impact with those people who are looking for a safe and unique alternative to traditional movie theaters."
