Well it’s not even half way through series one, but we hear that the coaches on The Voice UK are already in talks to sign up for series two. It’s Tom Jones who has let this slip. He said: "The BBC has already asked me to come back for the next series and I've said yes. We have already begun discussions.” It is very early on to try and secure the coaches for the next series – The Voice UK has been very successful so far on Saturday nights in the UK, but it does still have time to fail. Maybe the show’s producers are looking at how the show did in America – over there it is the biggest show of its kind – bigger than American Idol and bigger than Simon Cowell’s X Factor. The coaches on the UK version are Tom Jones, Jessie J, Will I Am and Danny O’Donoghue from The Script. So Tom has confirmed that the discussions are already open for signing on the dotted line for series 2. He said: "They are ongoing but I would very much like to do it again. They're happy with the judges as we are, and it looks like all of us will be back, even will." Maybe the show producers are trying to sign them up now in the hope that the pay rises won’t be as demanding. The rumours are that Will I Am – the highest paid coach – will get over £500,000. Jessie J and Tom Jones will be about level on around £25,000, and Danny - the lowest paid judge – will also get at least £100,000. With The Voice UK only into its first week of live shows, it is unclear which judge is favourite to lead their act to victory. Time will tell!
