We knew that when we saw a tweet from Simon Cowell regarding a new book that is coming out about him, then it was going to be interesting. Simon’s tweet over the weekend said: “Just seen the TV ad for the unauthorised book on me. Yikes” So we knew there would be some serious gossip. The one thing we can’t get over, which has come out, is the fact that Simon Cowell had a fling with Dannii Minogue. The book is out next month and will contain the full details, but parts have been revealed early. And about the fling with Dannii, Simon has apparently said: “I had a crush. It was genuine love.” Their time sleeping together was when they were working on X Factor, just after Simon split from his long term girlfriend, Terri Seymour. Simon has said in the past: “After Terri Seymour, I wasn’t ready for another relationship.” Well, he said that, and then Dannii came along, and they, well, had a type of a relationship. Simon said: “I had a crush on her. It was Dannii’s hair, the sexy clothes and the boobs. I was like a schoolboy. She was foxy. She was a real man’s girl. Very feminine.” The one person who was really not happy about their romance was Sharon Osbourne, who also worked on X factor at the time. Sharon was apparently unhappy when Simon and Dannii travelled together in a bigger private jet than what she and Louis Walsh had. Simon apparently described Dannii Minogue as a new toy when he confirmed her as one of the judges, and their sleeping together began in 2007. Anyone else feel a bit sick? This doesn’t come at a great time for Dannii who is still getting over her relationship with Kris Smith, after 4 years together.
