We are still sniggering to ourselves about Russell Brand’s jokes at the MTV movie awards. Russell hosted the show, and as predicted was as controversial as ever – even with people in the room! John Travolta did not escape Russell’s jibes – despite the fact that John denies any of the allegation currently thrown at him. He has had various masseurs say they massaged him but he wanted a bit more than just a rub down if you know what we mean – as we say John Travolta denies all of this and is considering what action to take. This didn’t stop Russell Brand, who claimed on the stage to have just given Travolta a massage himself. He said: “He needed it, man. He was so stiff, I'm telling you!” He mentioned his soon to be ex wife – Katy Perry - he had met her at awards by MTV previously. Russell said: "Last time I did an MTV show I ended up marrying someone. Tonight I’m going to keep my eyes peeled for my next wife.” What an excuse to look at the ladies hey! Russell Brand and Katy Perry had been married 14 months when they announced their divorce – Russell explained that he had expected some stick from this with it being a short time, but thanked Kim Kardashian for talking the lime light away. He said: “Kim took a lot of pressure off with her world record marriage - cheers, Kim.” Kim was married about a month! – at least Russell and Katy did 14 times that! Charlie Sheen attended the awards and god knows what he had to say to Russell afterwards about the jokes he made about him. Russell said: "I've taped a bottle of Hennessy and a gram of coke under your chair. In case I start going crazy, just nick it and do a couple of lines. Release the tiger blood hero!" You really just can’t take Russell Brand anywhere can you!
