Deciding who should be on the judging panel for X Factor in the UK is so important to Simon Cowell, that he now won’t make a decision about who the 4th judge will be before the auditions start. Just like last series, Take That’s Gary Barlow is back, Tulisa also returns, as does Louis Walsh – who has become part of the furniture – and a very annoying piece of furniture at that! This leaves one space left – after Kelly Rowland quit – well, we say quit, it is a bit of a grey area as to whether or not she was pushed. Danni Minogue apparently turned down £1 million to take the seat – we hear that she demanded £5 million to come back, but that was just too big a price to pay for the show’s producers, so this has left Simon Cowell having to look at other options. Robbie Williams is on his list. Robbie would be great – there would obviously be great chemistry between him and Gary, but he is just about to become a dad for the first time – would he really want to take on the job at this point in his life? We hear that Simon is trying to get Robbie to agree to make an appearance at one of the London auditions whilst he is in the UK with other charity work next week. Other options that are tip of Simon’s list include Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani and Tinie Tempah. The auditions for the show begin on Wednesday so they will be one judge down as it begins. Simon Cowell had better get his act together and get his cheque book out quick!
