Why is it that money attracts money? It made us a little bit angry to hear recently that Paris Hilton won $30,000 in a casino in Las Vegas. Why does that never happen to us? She doesn’t need the money! We’re hoping that although she won that huge amount, she may have lost a lot before it. She didn’t actually say what her profit was, just what she won. Paris was celebrating that awkward 31st birthday in Vegas. It’s the birthday that nobody quite knows what to do with. It’s the year after the big one – the big 3-0 – but Paris was always going to celebrate. It’s not her style not to. So, on a mini break that most people would be lucky to get for even their 30th, she headed to Las Vegas. Paris wasn’t even ashamed about her win of money, in fact she was proud and posted it on twitter. She said: "Just won 30k playing blackjack at @WynnLasVegas! #YES! #BirthdayGirlsLuck! I love gambling!" Well, only when you’ve got the money to gamble though hey. Paris had all her family and friends with her for the trip, and apparently had a brilliant time. Well, why wouldn’t she, she can afford to. We hear that last year she earned over $1.3 billion – all of a sudden the $30,000 she won doesn’t seem like such a massive amount. And all that $1.3 billion was down to Paris herself – her own projects, including her TV show, which didn’t actually do great in the ratings. Paris’s next trick up her sleeve is a music album. Paris has described it as “very modern and very catchy†and that it is “perfect party music.†Paris is clearly expecting it to do well. Sshhh... nobody mention that Stars Are Blind song she had out a few years ago!
