Nicki Minaj has done some crazy things in her career – some huge things, but doing a kids film has apparently topped them all. She lends her voice to the new Ice Age film – Ice Age 4 and she describes it as the best job in the world and one of the highlights of her career. Nicki said: "I just think it's a blessing and an honour. And seriously, I can't believe I'm in an Ice Age movie. My nieces and my little brothers, they're freaking out. They think I'm making it up. They won't believe it until the movie comes out that I'm doing a voice in 'Ice Age 4'." Nicki got to work alongside Queen Latifah and that also added to her excitement of working on the movie. About Queen Latifah, Nicki said: "I've looked up to her for so many years, she embodies everything that I'd like to do, you know? She went from acting, she does acting, animation voices - she's everything to me. To be a part of something she's a part of makes me very proud. Just working in that environment, the people on the movie were dope people. Everyone was so encouraging. When I was working on it I was like, 'This is the best job in the world!'" Nicki Minaj’s voice is also joined by the voice of Nick Frost and Jennifer Lopez too. It was also revealed yesterday that there will be a treat for fans of the Simpsons if they go to see Ice Age 4 at the cinema. A new 4 minute 3D mini story of the Simpsons will be shown, with Maggie Simpson taking centre stage. The short film is called The Lost Daycare.
