The big question this week about Lindsay Lohan is can she handle the new role that she has just been given. It was announced that she has beat off competition from the likes of Megan Fox to play Liz Taylor in a film about her life. Lindsay has been at a party in Hollywood this week and looked very happy at the news, but her hair extensions did look worn, and some said that she did look tired. A statement was made about her new job and it described her as "a rare talent and beauty." In the official statement, Lindsay also said she was "honoured" to be given the part. Others have expressed their worry over Lindsay getting such a big job. Rosie O’Donnell, for example, who is actually meant to be a friend of Linday’s, has said a few things, which if nothing else, will confirm the end of their so called friendship. She said: "I feel very sorry for her. I think she needs a lot of time away. She's had a lot of trouble doing every single movie, including SNL. She was out and not in rehearsal. I think she's not in a place to work.” When someone argued against this and said: "She's our generation's Elizabeth Taylor.” Rosie then really went for it and said: "You're out of your mind! You're a crackhead! The last thing she did that was good she was 16. I don't think she's right for the role and I don't think she's capable at this point to portray that character." Wow. We think her number might get deleted out of Lindsay’s phone book. Some would agree with her comments though – and Lindsay’s record over the past couple of years of dealing with the police doesn’t help people’s opinions of her – although she does claim to have sorted herself out now.
