Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have reportedly been planning a romantic reunion for months. The pop superstar and 'The Hunger Games' actor fuelled speculation they are back together when they were seen "kissing and cuddling" in Australia at the weekend and it has now emerged the former couple - who split over two years ago - have been in constant contact for a few months. An insider told TMZ Miley, 23, isn't ready to call Liam her boyfriend but they are more than just friends and have been frequently text messaging and FaceTiming one another. And the 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker even came to the 25-year-old hunk's rescue a few weeks ago, agreeing to look after his dog Dora while he was out of town. Miley had the "time of her life" on vacation in Australia and is now hoping for a permanent reunion with the actor, who she began dating in 2010 after meeting on the set of their movie 'The Last Song'. A source told E! News: "Miley came back to LA on Monday after spending the holidays with Liam. She had the time of her life being with him and his family. "She feels like they could pick up right where they left off. Miley has never gotten over Liam and always hoped they would get back together. She doesn't know where it will go, but she definitely still loves him and wants to be with him. Liam has an interest in being back together too." Miley and Liam fuelled speculation they were back together when they were spotted "kissing and cuddling" backstage at the Falls Music Festival in Byron Bay. According to reports, the pair "were very affectionate, although they had security with them to ensure fans did not catch any snaps of them together".
