Kris Jenner didn't want Khloe Kardashian to get divorced. The 31-year-old reality TV star called off her divorce from Lamar Odom last year in order to help him recover following his collapse at a Nevada brothel but once he was much better, she decided to press on with legally ending their marriage. However, it seems Khloe's mother didn't think it was such a good idea. In a preview clip for next week's episode of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians', Kris and Khloe are discussing her plans to divorce and the 60-year-old matriarch tells her daughter: "I think Lamar needs us as a family." Frustrated Khloe replies: "Lamar and I are not together." Khloe then turns to her sister Kourtney Kardashian to express her annoyance with Kris' comments. She asks: "Why is mom so on his side and never really mine?" Despite the exchange in the clip, it was recently claimed "everyone" is happy that Khloe is pressing ahead with her divorce. A source said: "Everyone in her family is happy that she is moving on. She has all the support possible." Khloe is also "at peace" with her decision and although she was happy to provide emotional and financial support for Lamar, 36, following his collapse after a drugs and alcohol binge, she wants to focus on her own life. Another insider added: "It was always the plan to go through it. The divorce has never been officially off. Khloe was waiting for the timing to be right. "She never wanted to file for divorce in the first place, and it's not easy the the second time around either. But she knows it's the right thing for her. "She took care of Lamar out of love, but she is ready to move on now. "She wants to remove herself from the situation a bit. She wants to focus on her own happiness now. She was loyal for a long time and taking care of him, but she's not a babysitter and needs to move on with her life." Khloe married Lamar in 2009 following a whirlwind romance and first filed for divorce four years later after discovering he had been cheating on her and taking drugs. She has cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind their split and has drafted in Laura Wasser, who is currently representing Johnny Depp in his divorce, to help deal with her case. The curvaceous TV star and the retired basketball player do not have a pre-nup and they have already reached an agreement about their properties, meaning they must now wait six months for the divorce to be legally finalised in the state of California.
