Idris Elba has admitted his "life goes to s**t" when he is not acting - just a month after he split from long-time girlfriend Naiyana Garth. The 43-year-old actor and the raven-haired beauty - who have 23-month-old son Winston together -went their separate ways after two-and-a-half years of dating, and the 'Luther' star says shooting films or TV shows is like his "therapy". He said: "Therapy is a good way to cleanse my ... when I'm not acting is when my life falls to s**t. It's really interesting. "I'm going through this b******s now 'cos I'm not on a film set. Had I been on a set I wouldn't even have noticed. Probably." The 'Wire' actor also admitted women of varying ages find him attractive, but says he first realised he was eye-catching when he was just 14 years old. However, the star - who also has 13-year-old daughter Isan from his former marriage to Hanne "Kim" Norgaard - added to Esquire magazine: "I sound a t**t saying that." News of Idris and Naiyana's split last month came shortly after he scooped the Best Actor accolade for 'Beasts of No Nation' at the British Film Awards, at which he didn't thank her during his acceptance speech. A source said at the time: "It ended very recently and it's too soon for her to talk about it. "They've kept it very quiet so she's surprised people know already. "It's very sad that this has happened while Idris is experiencing the highest points of his professional career and they can't celebrate it with each other."
