We saw Demi Lovato after a TV interview in London. She wore her big shades like a true celeb despite the fact that the sun wasn’t really shining. Her fans went crazy for her in scenes that some would describe as her looking like an animal at the zoo – she was caged away behind bars. She might live in the fluffy world of La La land, but she doesn’t have fluffy views and is very willing to speak her mind. As someone who has suffered problems, resulting in her going into rehab in October 2010, she now tries to look at why and worries about young girls in similar situations to her. The 19 year old puts a lot of blame on the TV and film industry, saying it puts pressure on girls to be thin. She said: ''I feel as if television and movies are now glorifying an unhealthy body image which puts a lot of pressure on young girls - and especially girls that are growing up and trying to find themselves. 'A lot of girls who are young are insecure, and they look to the media and what they see in magazines and everything else to see what they should look like. And I think that the film industry and the television industry should take more responsibility.'' Demi has had her fair share of issues – the rehab stint 18 months ago was just the end of what she had gone through. She’s admitted in the past to self harming at just 12 years old. She has advice for girls who feel like they are being targeted by peers and said: ''As much as it hurts when you're being bullied - always rise above it and also vocalise what's going on. You can't keep it inside. It's really dangerous to let your emotions bottle up or to let nobody know what's going on - you should really tell someone.'' Wise words there...
