So first we had Brad Pitt threatening to retire from acting last week, but then taking it back, and now we have David Beckham throwing in the word retiring too. Beckham has revealed that he may end his footballing career this year. This weekend is when David's contract with his current team LA Galaxy ends. They want to re sign him, and he is also being chased by a couple of other clubs, but David says he's getting older now, and only this week has been complaining of aches and pains. He has said: "It's been a successful year so far, we've played well. I've been at Galaxy for five years but this has been the most enjoyable for me. This season has been my best season. Statistically I've been up there with most of the players and I'm doing well. Ok come on David, we can all feel a but coming on... He went on to say: "I'm getting older now, I'm 36-years-old.You wake up in the morning and you feel a little bit sorer than when you were 21-years-old." Well he's hardly at the pipe and slippers age, but we wouldn't want him hurting that lovely body of his. He also said: "I need to look how my body feels at the end of this season because coming back after the injuries I had last season was difficult." He then admitted that he will discuss things with his wife at Christmas and added that he might just do something else. Ok, we'll let him and Posh talk about it over Christmas dinner then...
