Chris Martin from Coldplay said a few things he shouldn’t in front of his fans at a concert in America over the weekend. Coldplay were plying in Boston and Chris messed up the start of his song Warning Sign. He then blamed his mess up on the Olympics and said a few things that he probably didn’t mean. After he made the blunder, he said – and we’ve taken out the swearing - "Oh s***. I was thinking about the Olympics. I was distracted. I was not in the break-up frame of mind and I should have been. I'm going to get back into it. I'm going to stop thinking about pole vault, things like that, and I'm going to focus back in on the song. So is everybody else.” He then went on to explain why he had been thinking about the Olympics in his home country. He said: "It's a big deal, man. We've never had the Olympics in our lifetime so you can't blame a band for thinking about it every once in a while - 'God, the f***ing Olympics are happening in London!' " He then realised that he was probably going on a bit too much about something in a completely different country and said: "What's more important is the best concert in the world is happening right here, right now, so we'd better carry on. F*** the Olympics. Let's have a f***ing great time in Boston." Chris then started the track again but clearly regretted his words as he then paused and said: "Please don't tweet that I said: 'F*** the Olympics'. I didn't mean that. Please don't turn it into a news story, whatever you do, because we're going to play the end of it. "Don't tweet that either! S***, I'm in a big mess now." So there it is... Coldplay confirmed for the closing ceremony!
