Cheryl Cole unveiled a large new tattoo when the new Girls Aloud tour kicked off yesterday (21.02.13). The pop star stunned fans when she flaunted two huge red roses emblazoned on her lower back during the opening night of the girl band's 'Ten - The Hits' in her home city of Newcastle upon Tyne, in North East England. It's not known whether the extensive inking - which reaches from just below her bra line right down to her butt - is just for show or a permanent fixture to the 29-year-old beauty's body, but Cheryl had the artwork on full display in a series of sexy and revealing outfits, including a studded pink and silver bra and pink tutu, a futuristic bedazzled black corset, and a stylish monochrome crop top paired with leather pants. Cheryl and her bandmates Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh were clearly excited to reunite on stage for their first tour since going on hiatus in 2009 to pursue solo projects. The 'Promise This' hitmaker, who is originally from South Shields, told her home town crowd: "There is no other place in the world we'd rather be than here with you Geordies! Are you ready to party with us? It's been a long time coming!" Cheryl's other inkings include tribal tattoos on her right hand and lower spine, a 'Mrs Cole' marking on the back of her neck, a treble clef and vine leaves wrapped around her right thigh and a mysterious tattoo on her bum.
