The self-confessed food fan loves wearing her alter-ego Angie Appleton's fitted mini dresses, but admits they don't leave much room for her to gorge on a big meal, so she has to rely on Romeo Cheetham-Karcz, who plays young George Appleton.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Her work clothes are very nice. I like her mini dresses and they're quite fitted.

"But they leave no room for having a large lunch. You can't have a large lunch as Angie.

"I have to be careful. I love food, I'm such a foodie. I love cooking.

"It's good because sometimes I've got the baby, so I can hide my food belly."

While Romeo has helped Victoria out after a good feed, the "cute" youngster has also left her feeling "broody".

Speaking at the Inside Soap Awards, she added: "George is such a great addition to the family. Romeo is just the cutest little thing. He makes us all very broody.

"He's just so cute and he's becoming more and more aware.

"And his mum's brilliant. She's always there on set with us and making sure we're OK and feeling comfortable.

"I've really, really enjoyed the last year-and-a-half."

Victoria has been on the cobbles since August 2017 after Angie arrived with husband Jude Appleton (Paddy Wallace), and 'The Royals' star is pleased their family unit has brought a "whole new side" to Patti Clare's alter-ego, Jude's mum Mary Taylor.

She said: "Having a family involved has brought a whole new side to Mary which you didn't necessarily have before.

"I love the fact we've been able to explore Mary's character as well as having us to come into it and our own little Romeo."
