Josh Charles has landed a recurring role in the third season of Masters of Sex. The former star of Good Wife is to appear in the Showtime drama as self-made businessman Daniel Logan, looking to "bottle the smell of sex".
It's reported by Vanity that his new project will go on to complicate the work of William Masters ( Michael Sheen) and Virginia Johnson ( Lizzy Caplan), as he hopes the general public will buy into his idea of a marketed aphrodisiac.
Charles' work on The Good Wife ended with season five, but he went on to join the television adaptation of Wet Hot American Summer alongside John Slattery and Jayma Mays.
Maggie Grace recently joined the third season of Masters of Sex as a "confident gynaecologist" who adds to the team at William Masters and Virginia Johnson's clinic.
Masters of Sex returns to American screens on Showtime at 10pm, July 12.
