'Britain's Got Talent' is due to receive a new spin-off programme.
Fans of the show, in which Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli judge different acts, will be able to watch 'BGT Reacts' exclusively on ITVX, where some of the country's biggest social media stars and celebrities share their thoughts on the brave performers who have taken to the stage.
In a statement, Charlie Irwin, Managing Director of Thames (a Fremantle label) – the company behind the show – said: "We are thrilled to be able to expand on the 'Got Talent' brand with a fantastic new show to accompany the new series of 'Britain’s Got Talent'.
"Collaborating with both content creators and celebrities, we know that 'BGT Reacts' will deliver some truly fun and unique moments, for the ITVX viewers."
A total of six 15-minute episodes will be released onto the streaming platform after the main show has aired on ITV1.
Head of Entertainment Commissioning ITV Katie Rawcliffe added: "As well as being one of the favourite parts of the series for traditional linear viewers, we know that the auditions generate a huge social footprint online each series.
"We can’t wait to amplify this viewer engagement through brand new ITVX series 'BGT Reacts', working with some of the UK’s most successful influencers and content creators - all big fans of 'Britain’s Got Talent'."
The seventeenth series of the show is set to air from Saturday 20 April, in which more hopefuls try to impress the judges with their talents.
Former 'Strictly Come Dancing' star Bruno, who joined 'Britain's Got Talent's judging panel in 2023, said that he couldn't wait to see what the nation had in store for him this year.
He told Radio Times: "I had a ball, partly because I had never seen it before. It's true!
"Simon has teased me to death about it. I didn't even watch 'Strictly' – I don't watch shows that have a judging panel because I don't want to be influenced by another judge. I just want to do my own thing.
"But I had the best time. It's a proper variety show and the range of talent is incredible."
