Patricia Jude Francis ‘Patsy’ Kensit is and English actress, singer, former child star and model. At the age of four Patsy appeared in a television advert for Birds Eye and her first big screen role was in a film called For the Love of Ada in 1972.
Two years later she was in the film The Great Gatsby and the roles kept on coming after that. She attended the Italia Conti Academy and had many starring roles in different children’s TV programmes.
In 1985, Kensit was leading a dual career as both a singer and an actress and she quoted ‘All I want is to be more famous than anything or anyone.’
Patsy was a member of the 80’s pop band Eight Wonder and in 1988 they had two top 40 singles. She has been in several big films including Lethal Weapon 2 and Kill Cruise but Kensit has more credits in TV series.
She played the role of Sadie King for two years in Emmerdale and the role of Faye Byrne in Holby City.
