Paolo Nutini is a Scottish singer-songwriter and musician from Paisley. He is signed to Atlantic Records and his first album These Streets was released in 2006.
Since then he has released another album Sunny Side Up in 2009 and in 2011 he was in the studio working on new material but there is no album announcement as of yet.
When he left school he worked as a roadie and sold t-shirts for Speedway, he spent three years learning about the music business and performing small gigs and he later worked at Glasgow’s Park Lane Studio.
His big shot arrived in 2003 when he got the chance to perform for a waiting crowd. One of the members of the audience was Brendan Moon, who offered to be his manager.
Last year he sang at the opening of the London 2012 Olympics Games with Duran Duran, Snow Patrol and Stereophonics.
