Weezer are preparing to return to the stage for the first time since frontman Rivers Cuomo was injured in a freak bus accident.
The band was forced to cancel its North American tour after Cuomo was admitted to hospital with a punctured lung after his tour bus crashed in December.
Cuomo has spent the last few weeks recovering at his Los Angeles home, and now the Buddy Holly hitmakers are preparing to take the stage again at Florida State University on 20 January.
In a post on Twitter.com, Cuomo writes, "Doctor says my lung is all healed - cleared to fly to Florida for the show. Turns out I broke 5 ribs!!! RC."
