The Counsellor
Michael Fassbender is a favourite here at FemaleFirst and he is back on the big screen this autumn with his brand new film The Counsellor.
The movie reunites him with filmmaker Ridley Scott - who he worked with for the first time last year with Prometheus - as Scott returns to the director’s chair.

We have been treated to a whole host of crime dramas this year but The Counsellor looks set to be of the stand out films in this genre in 2013.
A Ridley Scott movie is always something to be excited about - but this is the first film for the director since the success of Prometheus last summer.
And, as you may expect, a Ridley Scott film has enticed quite a line-up as Fassbender finds himself on a cast list alongside Brad Pitt and Cameron Diaz as well as Oscar winners Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz.
The Counsellor is just the first film that we will be seeing Fassbender star alongside Pitt, as they are both of the cast list of the highly anticipated 12 Years A Slave, the latest film for Steve McQueen.
The film tells the story of a lawyer (Fassbender), who finds himself in over his head when he gets involved in drug trafficking.
It may only be September but everyone is already talking about which films and performances may be in the running of Oscar nominations? And it seems like there are many early runners and riders, but will The Counsellor be one of them?
The Counsellor is released 15th November.
