Stan Lee believes that we will be seeing a Silver Surfer movie.
The only time that we have seen the character on the big screen in recent years was in the second Fantastic Four film.
And Lee says that the character will eventually get his own movie - however it is not a film that is immediately on the horizon.
Speaking to MTV Geek at Wizard Con he said: "Back at Marvel, they are frantically looking for what is the next one they're going to do.There is no way they won't eventually do a Silver Surfer movie.
"It may not be for a few years because they're thinking and working on Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy. Everything we have.
"And the fans seem to want all of them. But they'll get around to a Silver Surfer feature because he's a wonderful character."
It is going to be a busy couple of years for Marvel as Thor: The Dark World will be released in the autumn with Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America: The Winter Soldier both dropping next summer.
And Phase Two of Marvel films will come to a close in the summer of 2015 with the release of Avengers 2 - which is already one of the most anticipated films.
2013 has been an excellent year for Marvel already as Iron Man 3 stormed to $1.3 billion at the global box office.
