Unbroken is one of the Boxing Day movies that I cannot wait to see and a set of brand new images from the movie have been revealed.

Unbroken marks the return of Angelina Jolie to the director's chair for what is her second feature film - she made he debut with In The Land of Blood and Honey - and this new movie looks set to cement her as a true filmmaking force.
The movie is based on the incredible true story of Louis Zamperini - played by Jack O'Connell - an Olympic runner who was captured by the Japanese during the Second World War. It looks set to be another great role and performance from O'Connell, who is an actor who really is on the rise.

O'Connell really is an actor to watch out for over the next couple of years, and Unbroken could be a movie that sees him bag a Best Actor Oscar nomination early next year - we all know how much the Academy loves a biopic movie. We could also see Jolie in the Best Director mix for the very first time.
Jolie has brought together a terrific cast for the film, as O'Connell is joined by Domhnall Gleeson, Jay Courtney, Garrett Hedlund and Finn Wittrock.
Unbroken is an epic drama that follows the incredible life of Olympian and war hero Louis "Louie" Zamperini (O'Connell) who, along with two other crewmen, survived in a raft for 47 days after a near-fatal plane crash in WWII-only to be caught by the Japanese Navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp.
