Jeremy Renner was branded a "weirdo" as a teen.
The 42-year-old 'Mission: Impossible' actor might be one of the most in-demand action stars in Hollywood now, but he admits things weren't always so easy for him growing up.
He told Best Movie: "I grew up in California and Hawaii, but I don't surf or smoke weed, so everybody considered me a weirdo, which I probably am."
'The Avengers' heartthrob is very secretive about his love life, and he admits he would rather be committed to his film roles than a woman until he's sure she's the right one for him.
Jeremy explained: "I'm married to my career and for now that's the only kind of commitment I'm planning to have ... Coming from a family with many divorces, I vowed not to make the same mistakes."
The star joked he is the eternal Peter Pan and says he pursues an acting career in order to keep acting young and fooling around on set.
He added: "I don't have many fears, but I don't want to stop growing up. I'm in my 40s now, but my job keeps me young and I still feel like a kid ... I could take a nap anywhere and I love tuna sandwiches."
