Pamela Anderson and Vivienne Westwood are an unlikely fashion pairing
There are some people in fashion that you would never ever expect to be friends, and when they are pictured in public together it pretty much shocks the hell out of you.
That was kind of how we felt a few years ago when we saw Pamela Anderson and Liz Hurley cosying up to each other at an Oscar party, and again when Pammie was spotted schmoozing with Vivienne Westwood last year.
It turned out that Pam was being lined up as the new face of Westwood's new Gold Label campaign, despite not being the stereotypical choice to front a fashion campaign.
Of course, it was a stroke of genius in the end really as the campaign has been hailed as a huge success, and Pam's now rumoured to be highly in demand for fashion campaigns, rather than lad mag shoots.
Someone else who we couldn't really picture as being firm fashion friends is Kate Moss and Beth Ditto. Despite initially dismissing Ms Moss from her radar, Beth seemed to have kissed and made up with the supermodel last year, as they were pictured partying in LA.
They're both designers of sorts, but we don't think they'd have much else in common other than that. They've both gone nude for magazine covers too, and they both like to hit the party scene, so maybe they bonded over naked cocktails? Who knows?!
Then there's Leona Lewis' confession she wants to go horse riding with Jordan and loves her new equestrian fashion range. This made us shudder more than anything, but it was nice to hear Leona's not as bland as she makes out.
Our most recent unlikely pairing happened this week, as ex-Skins star Nicholas Hoult found himself corned by two fashionstas, eager for his attention.
Jasmine Guinness was spotted trying to convince Nick about how great the fashion world is, only to be faced with his response of finding the fashion world and its people strange. Better luck next time Jasmine!
While relative fashion newbie Tasmin Egerton was also spotted cosying up to Nick recently at a London Fashion Week after party. Could it be Nick is sussing out the fashion scene to make a catwalk debut in future?
Well, it's not completely out of the question, as he is after all appearing in designer, Tom Ford's new movie soon. Watch this space...
