Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham

Now, we don't say this lightly because we love Victoria Beckham here at FemaleFirst, but even we can't deny that her style choices have been less than great recently.

She used to be the champion of new trends, but well, we have to say we've been disappointed with Posh's efforts of late and think she needs to try harder.

Now we know she doesn't do 'relaxed' fashion, but taking style tips from arch enemy Jordan and wearing a neon pink mini-dress, in the middle of winter is not going to impress the fashion pack.

Ok, well it isn't exactly winter anymore, but it isn't leg baring weather either, and the colour combined with her perfect year long tan, did nothing to sway us either.

We've only just got on board with liking her short crop, after she shocked us all last year with that pixie cut, and now she goes and springs all sorts of mad fashion on us!

Only last week she was spotted in a scary military inspired outfit, which looked like it had been borrowed from the wardrobe of the Thunderbird puppet Parker.

In fact, she even got a mention in our celebrities dressing like superheroes feature yesterday for this horrific look, and as you can imagine we were less than enthusiastic about her fashion choice.

It beggars belief that this was her outfit for a long haul flight, as it can't of been very comfy and if she was trying to make a statement, she made the wrong one, in our view.

Then there was that optical illusion dress which made headlines last week as well. Not only had Posh been papped in a dress, which made her look even skinnier, but she was also the second person to wear it in under a month.

Now for normal people this would not be an issue, but this is Victoria Beckham we are talking about; she doesn't play second fiddle to anyone.

Considering the 'other women' turned out to be Sophie Kinsella, that must sting even more, as Posh is arguably much more famous than the author, so to wear McQueen second hand is not a smart style move.

We're prepared to wipe the slate clean and start afresh, if you are Posh, and just chalk it down to a bad case of fashion amnesia- deal?!
